This challenge is proposed to students who want to develop their TFG/TFM and who have a background in interaction design, user experience, visual communication, digital product design, accessibility or related disciplines.
It can also be a proposal for students with a background in psychology, communication or humanities with an interest in accessibility, technology and people-centred design.
It is important to have analytical skills, sensitivity to the diversity of users and a proactive attitude to develop research, synthesis and solution proposals.
It is not considered necessary to have advanced technical knowledge, but curiosity to explore the potential of tools such as artificial intelligence applied to design.
The visual complexity, excessive stimuli and non-linear structure of many television interfaces hinder the experience for people with low cognition, such as the elderly, those with neurological damage or mild or moderate intellectual disabilities, who need clearer, more guided and predictable environments.
To investigate the most common cognitive barriers in TV environments and explore how artificial intelligence can help to solve them through adaptive design proposals, aimed at improving understanding, navigation and autonomy for people with cognitive diversity.
