How can we leverage haptic technology to create more inclusive and accessible experiences for people with visual, hearing or neurodivergent disabilities?

Challenge Description

Project to research, conceptualise and prototype a solution that uses haptic technology to improve the accessibility of a leisure experience. The solution must be functional, user-centred and based on universal design principles. It must also meet the needs of a telecommunications company such as Telefónica.

  • Key aspects to explore:

In-depth understanding of the needs of users with disabilities.
Exploration of the state of the art in haptic technology and its accessible applications.
Multisensory interaction design.
Evaluation of user experience from an inclusive perspective.
Importance of telcommunications.

Documentation of research and findings.
