Thematic Context
Aimed at students who are looking to develop their TFG/TFM and who have a strong interest in new technologies, especially those related to cybersecurity techniques.
Introduction
Telefónica's Ideas Locas team develops projects and research in different fields and proposes a new universe for you to experiment, ideate, learn and innovate.
The challenge they propose is the following:
Protecting critical operations on a blockchain is vital to ensuring data integrity and security. In this context, multisig authorization allows multiple parties to authorize a transaction before executing it. Latch, an innovative MFA solution, offers the possibility of adding an additional layer of security through a system of "digital latches". It is proposed to integrate Latch with a blockchain as an additional layer to manage multi-signature transactions, preserving the privacy of signers.
Challenge posed
The aim is to develop a system that integrates Latch with a blockchain. The system must allow: The management of critical operations using Latch to authorize transactions through multisig, with the possibility of full or partial approval.
An event system on the blockchain that maintains traceability of operations without compromising privacy.
The goal of the system is to ensure the security and traceability of signatures on a blockchain network without compromising the privacy of signers. The main objectives are:
Develop an interface for users to manage their signatures and link them to their Latch account.
Develop an administrative interface to carry out transactions that require these multisignature authorizations, with Latch as an access control mechanism, applicable both globally and specifically.
Develop a test suite.
Evaluate the impact of the solution in terms of security, performance, and usability
