Thematic Context

This challenge is designed for university students who want to develop their TFG/TFM and who have learning skills on technological areas such as Cloud or IoT as well as economic knowledge for a better financial analysis.

Introduction

Cloud Computing is one of the most cutting-edge projects in the European Union. The objective of this challenge is to study its economic viability in the incorporation of this technology to medium-sized companies, to know how profitable it is.

With the possibility of extending it to small companies or leaving this section for future research.

Challenge posed

The following points will be mainly analyzed: -Study the incorporation of cloud computing in medium-sized companies.
-Analyze economic advantages for medium-sized companies when using the edge.
-Analyze the economic viability for the different actors: edge provider, company, reseller, commercial channel
-Orient Edge uses such as IoT. Sales models and bringing the edge closer to medium-sized companies. How he finds out and advertises himself and how he understands it
-Propose sectors where it could be profitable for the company. Examples, workshops, small assembly lines, shops.
-Facilitate migration to small businesses.
