The team is responsible for all stages of the product, from the definition of low-level requirements based on customer needs, network management and platform operation, to the automation of deployment processes in all available environments. All this using agile development methodologies (Scrum, eXtreme Programming, Agile testing, etc...). This is a product in service to end customers, and used by Telefónica's commercial applications within the Television platform.

The person will be in charge of the documentation part within the relay, operations and support team. A position is offered in which you will have to understand the operation of all the elements of the product, without exception, and will have to work, also without exception, with all the teams that form the initiative in order to generate, from the knowledge of others, the technical documentation of all the work done implementing processes that allow the automatic update of the same complying with the quality directives that Telefónica requires for its products in service. You will learn both how to work on the equipment and the details of both the hardware and software architecture of a product in service as part of one of Telefonica's main commercial products. You will be trained in the management of the documentation of a product following the needs of a large company, its tools and its methodologies. You will acquire knowledge of the architecture that a product in production has, having special importance the training in the needs of high performance and high availability of a product. You will work with process automation tools such as scripting mainly bash and python and automatic documentation tools such as swagger or Asciidoctor.

The person must have a background in computer or telecommunications engineering since the objective is to eventually incorporate a developer to the team if this is possible. A high level of written English is an asset since, although all verbal communication will be in Spanish, the documentation will be written in English. Any previous experience with the above mentioned automation and scripting tools as well as the use of GitHub as a code repository will be an asset, although it is not essential. And above all, the desire to learn from professionals with much more experience and the desire to integrate into a team of people.
