The video eXperience Design team at Telefónica Digital Innovation proposes that students at La Salle Barcelona bring their academic training closer to the reality of the company and learn how digital experiences that impact millions of users are defined and executed, ensuring that products are innovative, useful, and consistent.
At Telefónica, the multidisciplinary teams that make this a reality bring together talent in User Research, Product Design, Design Ops, Systematization and Scaling, UX, and UI to guarantee the highest standards of usability and accessibility.
This experience is offered to students so that they can integrate creativity, technology, and user experience, and learn how to develop a solid design culture within the company, promoting best practices and aligning the strategic vision with each digital project launched on the market.
During their training, students will learn to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations in a professional environment, developing both technical skills and soft skills necessary to integrate into the world of design and product development.
The areas of learning will be:
• Immersion and observation: Tools and methodologies, observing professional workflows and team dynamics. Students are encouraged to identify specific needs and challenges in the work environment.
• Practical application: Participating in real tasks as part of the team, contributing design solutions, collaborating on projects, and addressing common issues in the sector. Learning to apply user research techniques, prototyping, wireframing, and interaction design.
• Reflection and documentation: They prepare a report on the practices developed, where they critically analyze their experiences, identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement, and present evidence of their contributions to the process.
• Evaluation and feedback: They receive follow-up from academic and professional tutors, who evaluate their performance and guide the development of key skills for their professional future.
They will acquire technical and management skills such as:
• User research and analysis
• Information architecture
• Interaction design
• Prototyping and testing solutions
• Use of professional tools such as Figma
• Presenting and defending ideas to stakeholders
• Incorporating accessibility and inclusion parameters into all processes.
