The team is in charge of building Telefónica's Global Video and Television Platform. It is a multi-disciplinary team, formed by project managers, backend developers, quality engineers, solution architects, devops, etc., with great experience and highly qualified.

If you are a student and you are passionate about backend software development, this opportunity interests you. You will participate in the development of different components of the Global Video Platform created by Telefónica (and called TV Open Platform) and currently used in several countries (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Germany). To do so, you will mainly use the Python programming language. You will be integrated into a multi-disciplinary and highly qualified team, which will allow you to complete your training. Moreover, you will have at your disposal development and development support tools (VSC, Docker, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.) that will allow you to learn the complete software development cycle in a professional environment. You will also have the opportunity to participate in other activities related to development (detailed analysis of solutions, unit testing, test support, documentation, etc.), all applying Agile methodologies.

This scholarship is designed for students who are pursuing a university degree in Computer Engineering or similar, with a strong vocation for backend software development, eager to learn and participate in a professional experience that will enrich them to complement their academic training.
