Description of the team offering the internship
From Wayra's Marketing & Communications team, we design and execute communication plans for Wayra and its own initiatives as well as for joint projects with other corporations (innovation services). We work in different channels and with different purposes: positioning, to raise awareness, to convene, or even to generate leads for something specific. We approach 360º communication: events, press (press releases, interviews), social media, web, branded content and more. Our main objective is to communicate to the technological and innovative ecosystem everything we do in Wayra Spain, but also to give visibility to our startups.
What will you learn during your internship with us?
You will learn about communication strategy, planning and execution from start to finish. You will be present in creative processes but also in strategy and analysis. You will witness different events and see how they are planned from communication: pre, during and post. You will see how we approach our activity with the media (press) and how we do it in social networks. You will also learn how we work together with other corporations, since at Wayra we generate joint initiatives with the most important national and international companies.
Training and skills you will need to develop this internship
Training in Communication, Advertising or Marketing. Knowledge of social networks and web management (analytics). Good writing skills (copy). Ideal if you have some knowledge of design. English is a must. Knowledge of technology and innovation is a PLUS. Person eager to learn and also have fun, proactive (in Wayra we love people who propose ideas), who likes technology and innovation.
