Open Gateway Go To Market - Strategy & Partner Portal

Description of the team offering the internship

Go to Market is the department in charge of discovering and taking advantage of market opportunities within Telefonica's Open Gateway initiative http://opengateway.telefonica.com in which we are in charge of getting customers (partners) with whom to collaborate and value our new network APIs, so they can use the features of our network and thus improve the value proposition of the digital products and services that they market. Within this department is our “Strategy & Partner Program” team, where we are in charge of managing the Partner Program, providing it with content and tools, and promoting the adhesion of different companies to it, as well as the management of our Channel Partners, promoting the availability and redistribution of our APIs by the channel.

What will you learn during your internship with us?

Joining us you will have exposure to the main technological development companies in the world, from a multidisciplinary point of view: business, technical, legal, privacy... learning how Telefónica's technologies add value to their digital services. You will help us in the planning of the partner portal and its objectives, covering content, tools and communications. You will participate in the creation of live webinars and creation of video on demand materials. You will assist in the classification of usage data of our portals and communications creating insights for decision making based on data analysis. As part of the team, you will be in all meetings and have exposure to the real business of the initiative and receive multidisciplinary training and experience that will help you to have a holistic view of Open Gateway at Telefónica. Active participation in various tasks, demonstrating organizational and adaptive skills in projects within the Open Gateway team. Support in the preparation of webinars, content plan planning, newsletter management and contact mailbox administration. Update of contacts and commercial follow-up with our CRM tool, creation of reports for GoToMarket management through our business Intelligence tool, support in the organization of events with partners, follow-up of commercial activity and marketing proposals with our channel partners.

Training and skills you will need to develop this internship

Proactive attitude, communication skills, passion for business and technology (not at a high technical level, but at the level of interest in new technology trends and related businesses). Desirable background in business and entrepreneurship, marketing and communication with interest in technology and business models. Medium/high level of English (20% of the meetings and 80% of the documentation will be in English). Good command of Excel and Power Point and desirable Power BI and PipeDrive or other CRM tools.
